This blog is an attempt to start a conversation about the impact of different media and information content on college instructor effectiveness, student learning, and the overall classroom experience in general. I have been teaching college business courses for five years, and am interested in a wide range of topics related to classroom management, instructor effectiveness, and positive learning experiences. A partial list of topics includes the quickly consolidating publisher texbook market; the use of different media formats and their impact on learning and retention; use of large library database applications like ProQuest, EBSCO, etc.; the value of textbook ancillaries including video; and the application of theoretical business concepts to real world situations.
